Scouts:
- Send messages to adults from your own phone or email so that adults are not confused if they are communicating with a scout or another adult.
- Always copy a second adult (parent or leader).
- Before reaching out, check the Troop259.com calendar or weekly newsletter — your answer might already be there! Have you checked with your SPL or Patrol Leader?
Adults:
- Always include another adult in any message to a Scout.
- Communicate to scouts only between 8 a.m.–9 p.m., except in urgent cases.
- Encourage independence — let your son contact adult leaders himself.
